The Powerscreen ® Trakpactor 480SR horizontal shaft impactor is designed for processing soft to medium-hard primary & secondary materials such as natural rock & construction derived materials like asphalt, recycling & demolition waste.

Material is fed into the large feed hopper, with a vibrating grizzly feeder which features a selectable crusher bypass facility & optional fines discharge conveyor. Load sensing ensures the wide crusher inlet opening receives a continuous feed of pre-screened material, avoiding unnecessary crusher wear.

The SR section is fully detachable using quick release hydraulics and electrics. To enable this, the recirculation conveyor slews into transport position along the side of the machine. The recirculating conveyor can also slew from recirculating to stockpiling position
